Welcome to Elgg Trac

Trac is the place where you can follow or contribute to Elgg development. The best place for a quick overview of activity can be found in the timeline. This is the tracker for the elgg core software. If you are looking to contribute to plugin development, please see the elgg plugin tracker

You will need to be logged in to be able to submit or modify tickets. If you create an account at elgg.org you will be able to log in with the same credentials. Existing elgg.org users will need to perform one extra step in order to synchronise their login credentials via this setup page.

Contributing to Elgg

You can contribute to Elgg in various ways, getting started is easy. See the development pages on the main wiki and the related information about the development process. Specific information about tickets and ticket triaging can also be found on the main wiki.

Submitting tickets

You are more than welcome to create tickets for any issues you have, plus don't forget that you can add a patch to that ticket too (we love patches). Please have a look at ticket triaging to see how we deal with tickets and for some guidelines when creating tickets.

Priority is always given to tickets with patches. Here is a page with various reports and lists of tickets.

Notifications

Trac can keep you up-to-date on tickets you have submitted or or other tickets you would like to track. You can configure this in your settings page by adding your email address after you have logged in.

Wiki

Although Trac has a built in Wiki, all documentation will be maintained on the main wiki.
