pages plugin doesn't keep parent element

Description

the "parent element" field for nesting pages doesn't seem to work right. You often can't move a page to being nested, and if you create a new one that is, then edit it, it looses it parent element.

Yes. After creating the page, set its parent, save it. Then edit the page, and the parent element menu doesn't keep the assigned parent

can you test again?

i tested creating a page and editing, and page keeps parent.

Also i fix another issue related to set parent to a page that has childs.
